Jamie Weiland

President

Jamie Weiland is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor and the founding President of the Giving Jay, Inc. As the owner of Counseling in Green Country, Jamie sees daily how small barriers—like a copay, a ride, or a mobility aid—can derail care. The Giving Jay, Inc. grew from that frontline experience: a practical, dignity-first way to open access to mental-health support and essential resources. Jamie leads with calm compassion and clear accountability, championing ethical partnerships, transparent stewardship, and solutions that help neighbors move from crisis to stability—and from stability to growth.

Noah Weiland

Vice-President

Noah Weiland brings a steady, heart-forward presence to the The Giving Jay, Inc. As Jamie Weiland’s brother-in-law, he’s seen up close how a little support at the right moment can change a life—and he’s made philanthropy and helping others a personal priority. Noah pairs warmth and reliability with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to service, championing community partnerships, thoughtful stewardship, and practical solutions that make care more accessible for everyone.

Raymon Sanders

Treasurer

A colleague of Jamie’s since 2017, Raymon Sanders brings steady financial stewardship and deep field insight to The Giving Jay, Inc. With extensive experience in mental and behavioral health—and as the owner of a supervised visitation company based in Tulsa—he understands the real-world barriers families face. Raymon is logical, grounded, and no-nonsense when it comes to accountability, while remaining genuinely compassionate and supportive. As Treasurer, he keeps our resources aligned with our mission and our books clear, accurate, and transparent.

Mark Farah

Secretary

A colleague of Jamie’s since 2014, Mark Farah anchors The Giving Jay, Inc. with clarity, care, and follow-through. Guided by a deep spiritual presence, he blends logical, forward-thinking problem-solving with genuine compassion. Mark has personal experience with the foster system and adoption, and today he and his wife are raising their daughter. As Secretary, he keeps our governance thoughtful and transparent, turning big-picture vision into clear agendas, honest minutes, and steady accountability.

Dr. John Sassin

Member- at- Large

Dr. John Sassin has been a mentor to Jamie since 2015, first as her professor at Langston University and now as faculty at Northeastern State University–Oklahoma. With 30+ years devoted to teaching, advocacy, and community partnerships—including Greenwood cultural development and the Tulsa Police–Mental Health collaboration—he brings deep expertise in disabilities, independent living barriers, and mental/behavioral health. John is a steady, solutions-minded connector who also treasures nature, travel, and time with his family. As Member-at-Large, he helps The Giving Jay, Inc. listen widely, act ethically, and build programs that work in real life.
